Galhyeonseong Castle
Galhyeon Fortress, 350 meter-long stone-walled fortification was built on top of the peak of a mountain which rises 263 meters above sea level. The walls of the oval-shaped fortress have been mostly destroyed except for the eastern wall, which is approximately 2 meters high and assumed to be made by piling up square-shaped stones.
As for the gates, only the site for the south gate, which is approximately 4.8 meters wide, still remains. The ruins of what was once presumed to be a reservoir was discovered at the site, as well as relics of the Three Kingdoms Era such as pieces of earthenware dishes and tiles for roofing.
