Baekgol Fortress
This mountain fortress was built with stones during the Three Kingdoms Era. The walls of the fortress surrounds the peak of Baekgolsan(mountain) which rises 340 meters above sea level and stretches 400 meters in perimeter.
This fortress stands at a location where it is easy to look over Gyejoksanseong(mountain fortress) of Daejoen and Gwansanseong(mountain fortress) of Okcheon, Thereby, it is assumed that the fortress was a strategically important military strongpoint for the Baekje forces.
