Namganjeongsa
Namganjeongsa

Namganjeongsa is a traditional Korean pavilion located at the foot of a hill, facing south. It was used as a study where the eminent Confucian scholar, Song si-yeol taught his students at the latter of the Joseon Dynasty.

A unique feature of Namganjeongsa is that a stream originating from a nearby valley flows through the bottom of the main hall of the building into a pond in front of the building, a distinctive style which upgraded the Korean landscape architecture that is highly praised to this day.
